Faith Affirmations

Reminder – I have been chosen, called, appointed for a very good reason. I am doing a great job and I cannot come down!

Nehemiah 6:3 So I sent messengers to them, saying, β€œI am doing a great work and cannot come down. Why should the work stop while I leave to come down to meet with you?”

Realisation – God is gaining ground through me and the enemy does not like it! Therefore I can expect times of testing but should know that God will not allow me to be tested beyond what I can bear.

Corinthians 10:13 No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.

Recognition – God is in control of this situation. My job is to keep handing everything back over to Him…..one by one. There is nothing I can do aside from my God.

Matthew 11:28 β€œCome to Me, all who are weary and heavily burdened by religious rituals that provide no peace, and I will give you rest refreshing your souls with salvation.

Regain and reclaim – get back what rightfully belongs to me….. Peace, hope, joy, love, sound mind. They are all mine to claim in the name of Jesus.

Romans 15:13 May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing through the experience of your faith that by the power of the Holy Spirit you will abound in hope and overflow with confidence in His promises.

Rest – enter into His rest and experience the amazing peace that passes all understanding.

Matthew 11:29 Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me following Me as My disciple, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest renewal, blessed quiet for your souls.
Amen

    1. Hi Barbara,
I’m so very sad to learn about your son. I cannot imagine what it is like to lose a child but know I will be praying for you and asking God to smother you with His perfect peace & love.
So thankful to God for His truth & word, that we can turn to it in our hour of need & find comfort & strength.
Much love & blessings to you.
