Worshipping God in Spirit & in Truth Part 1

John 4:23-24 – A bible study

John 4:23-24 But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.

This bible verse, in my opinion, is the most prolific scripture regarding worship and, as a lover of worship, has always grabbed my attention.

For that reason, I will be breaking this scripture down so that we can really grasp the meaning & depth of what Jesus was trying to convey.

I pray this study on worship will bless you and encourage you to develop a deeper relationship with Jesus as you encounter Him in a real and life changing way.

Part 1

1. But the hour is coming and now is

The time has come and the time is now when we can worship God, any place, any time.

Whether it be at church, home, in the car, wherever you want, you can worship!

You can worship alone or you can worship collectively, as part of a group. There are no rules.

The restrictions have been lifted & we can worship where we want to and when we want to.

Jesus had an important job to do & His time here on earth would revolutionise the relationship between creator God and human kind in a profoundly breathtaking way.

When Jesus died on the cross, He did so, as the final sacrifice and He did it for all.

It doesn’t matter about our past, our culture or our family history. All of that stuff is irrelevant. Anyone can worship Jesus, no matter what your background is.

The veil that separated humankind from God has been torn & through Jesus, we now have direct access to God.

Jesus is calling you.

Don’t miss this divine opportunity to step into fellowship and forge a relationship with Jesus.

The hour is coming and the hour is now.
