When a seed is planted, its buried deep in the soil in complete darkness. It has no light and no food source to begin with so it draws all it needs from its own sources.
That seed is protected in a special coating where nothing can harm it.
There may be a vision or a dream that God planted in your heart a very long time ago. That vision seed has sat in the soil for what seems like an eternity and yet there are no signs of it coming to pass.
We talk and hear a lot about sowing & reaping a harvest but we don’t really talk about what its really like to be a seed.
It takes time for a seed to grow before we see shoots appear from out of the ground.
If God has planted a vision seed in your heart, it can almost feel like the farmer has forgotten all about it.
I want to encourage you that God has not forgotten about that dream He gave you. That seed is growing, beneath the soil, even if you can’t see what’s happening.
The farmer expects that when he plants a seed, he will indeed reap a harvest in due time.
The giant Himalayan Lily exists as an unassuming clump of glossy leaves, but after seven years, it mysteriously sprouts up to three meters and produces a gift of delicate, trumpet-shaped flowers.
Don’t let go of your dream or vision but let go of the fear that it might not happen, for it will surely come to pass.
Habakkuk 2:3 “For the vision is yet for the appointed future time It hurries toward the goal of fulfillment; it will not fail. Even though it delays, wait patiently for it, Because it will certainly come; it will not delay.
Blessings, Hayley 😊
