You are doing a great work, don’t come down.

Nehemiah 6:3 So I sent messengers to them, saying, “I am doing a great work and cannot come down. Why should the work stop while I leave to come down to meet with you?”

We are builders for the kingdom of God on this earth & are part of God’s building network to restore what has been destroyed by the enemy.

You are a massive threat to the enemy & Satan will do all he can to prevent you from walking in your God given destiny.

No matter what the circumstance looks like, we must continually set our minds, not on the things of this earth but on things above (Col 3:2).

Nehemiah was so distressed to see his people; vulnerable & open to attack from every side, that he took on the quest to rebuild the walls around the city of Jerusalem.

Nehemiah was not prepared to stand back and watch the enemy devour and defeat his people and instead, took action.

Let us take action today.

Let us get alongside each other in encouragement; recognising one another’s potentials for the kingdom of God.

Let us show our support and encouragement to one another in love as we pray God’s protection over every precious heart.

Nehemiah was persistent in his pursuit, though he was not without opposition.

In Nehemiah 4:8 it says that, “They all made plans to come and fight against Jerusalem and throw us into confusion.”

Attempts from the enemy will be made to confuse you and take away your focus.

Don’t believe the lies of the enemy, instead stay focussed on the truth and believe that you are doing a great work for the kingdom of God.

Nehemiah 6:9 For they all wanted to frighten us, thinking, “They will become discouraged with the work and it will not be done.” But now, O God, strengthen my hands.

There are times when we can allow the spirit of intimidation and fear to engulf and overtake us, to the point where we become immobile through utter discouragement.

Therefore, it is so important that we do not go down but must stay seated in high & heavenly places, confident in what God has called you and I to do.

God will strengthen us as we fully rely on Him. Gods grace is all you need to accomplish every task He asks you to complete.

God has given you the mandate to lead people to Jesus; where chains are broken, lives are restored and hearts are set free.

I pray that these words will be on your heart as you continue on in your walk with Jesus.

“I am doing a good work and I cannot come down”.
