    1. Haha! Thanks so much. I’m a brummie through and through, even when I try to mask it. It has been said that the brummie accent is the worst accent in the UK so I’m always conscious of it lol πŸ˜‚
      Blessings,

      1. And far from the slurred and unclear Ozzy kind of speech, for example (right Jon?), yours, Hayley, is the truly adorable brummie accent, if you would please be so nice as to allow us all to build up your confidence in this department, as well, once and for all. Hold your head up high, Dearest!

      2. Great video and yes, you are so right, I do need to get over it. Like the video said, the accent does get a raw deal for some reason and I suppose I’m conscious of that. I can’t be anything but myself though.
Thank you for your encouragement, it is graciously received and I want to get over anything that could potentially stop me from doing what God has called me to do.
        Much love,

  1. This is a great idea!
I might do it too one day!

Some people don’t even show a picture of themself, which I fo understand and respect. But it’s always nice to know the person behind the blog.
And their accent. And yours is really niceπŸ˜€

    1. Yes! You definitely should do Andrea. I was absolutely cacking myself but so glad I posted it now. It’s like I’ve climbed Mount Everest lol.

My accent is brummie so not great really. It’s quite common and not seen as a pleasant accent at all in the U.K. but I can’t really help how I speak. Haha! πŸ˜‚

      Love Hayley xx

    1. Aww thanks Charlie.
No, I wasn’t reading it, just babbling really but also speaking my heart. I thought I might cry but managed to keep it together. I don’t know why I feel emotional when I’m nervous but I always do.

Everyone’s saying they like my accent!! Can they not hear the brummie sound?
      I love Americans lol πŸ˜‚

      Have a good evening,
      Hayley 😊

      1. Lol. Don’t get me started on Peaky Blinders….great show but the accent is a little dodgy in places. I’m listening to it going β€œthat’s not brummie!” Haha πŸ˜‚

    1. Thanks so much Bruce. That’s really good advice and I’ll try that next time. It’s very weird talking to your iPhone but I did picture all of my WordPress friends as I was talking. I wanted you all to know how grateful I am for you!

    1. Haha! πŸ˜‚ Really?? I literally have the most common accent. I did try to poshen it up a little though.
Thanks so much Jeff, looking forward to doing some more videos, especially some worship.

  3. Hayley! Praise the Lord! It’s so nice to hear your hello! You’re just as lovely conversationally! πŸ™‚ I love your music! Do you have a CD to purchase? I praise the Lord for your heart for Him in your music, and your voice is as tender as your heart. I linger in worship with Him, and I share with my friends (who love your music as well) ❀ Me and God have faith in you! ❀

I wanted you to know how very grateful I am that God brought us together as friends to encourage and support one another in the Lord. ✝️
I’m hoping to have an album on iTunes by the summer but all the songs will be free to listen to on YouTube too. I can send a cd to you if you like though my lovely friend xxx πŸ’•πŸ’ž

    Dear friends,
If you would like our beautiful Hayley to consider producing a cover of β€œThe More I Seek You” (I personally can already hear her singing it), do like this comment for her to know. Or leave it unliked to let her know her own songs are absolutely fantastic and what she should focus on.

    God bless us all.

    1. Thank you so very much, Leon for your kind comment. My heart is filled completely with joy and thankfulness to my loving Father for reminding me who I am in Him and that I can do all things in His strength.

I absolutely love the song β€˜The more I seek you’ by Kari Jobe and would definitely like to have a go at recording it. The song is so anointed and speaks right to my heart. Thank you for advising me on this. I was hoping for suggestions from my WordPress friends and yours is a wonderful suggestion.
      Thank you once again.
      Blessings to you all!
      Hayley 😊

      1. You are too kind!
I’ve been singing β€˜the more I seek you’ all day today. Wow! What a beautiful worship song that takes you right into the throne room. Just beautiful. I’m excited to record and share with you all.
        Blessings, Hayley 😊

    1. Lovely to hear you Hayley and your beautiful brum accent. You did really well and came across warm and genuine.
Better lighting would help us see you more clearly. You can get a light to attach to your mobile (if you were using the cell phone)…not sure about bigger devices. Anyhow, we’ll done.

I tried recording myself once on my phone just for practice… let’s just say it was hilarious and the not haha kind of funny. I have heard that live is easier than recorded.

      1. Thanks Helena, that’s great advice. I will see if I can get a light as I was using my phone to record on.
That’s good to know that live is easier! πŸ‘
Thank you so much for listening and commenting.

    1. You should definitely give it a try. 😊I’m so pleased that I did as I really feel like stepping out of my comfort zone has been a huge step of faith and a spiritual victory from how far I’ve come in God. Because of the anxiety I had, I would never of done anything like this 2 years ago but God has done amazing things in me and all the glory goes to Him!
I would absolutely love to hear you guys do a vlog! I bet you have so much wisdom to share that would really bless and encourage others!
      Love Hayley πŸ˜ŠπŸ’•

I am happy to have a go at singing and playing anything so long as it’s Christian and edifying to God.
I’ve had two already, β€˜This is the air I breathe’ and β€˜The more I seek you’.
I love all kinds of Christian worship. πŸ˜ŠπŸ’•

  5. When I heard you speak I was caught by surprise, but not totally – I thought something was up when I read how you spelled “Saviour” …that’s a UK kind of thing. However, even though a watched a video scientifically explaining why Brits sound Amercian when they sing, it still amazes me, especially when your accent – which is pretty, regardless of what you have been led to believe – is so pronounced.

I am looking forward to a great 2018, and my prayer for you is that God will expand your influence as He brings glory to His name through your music and testimony.

Thank you so much for your kind words of encouragement. My hearts desire is to exalt the name of Jesus and lead many to Christ through the songs God gives me. πŸ™
Love & blessings and a prosperous year to you also!

      1. Nice to meet you too. ❀ That song says “What if your blessings come from raindrops…what if your heeling comes through tears.” I think maybe we all need a little comforting with all that’s going on in the world. Your voice feels soothing.
